The blend of spices most frequently used is a mixture of ground cloves, allspice, ginger, cinnamon and freshly grated nutmeg. This mixture is then encapsulated in starch or another powdered matrix, which promotes the transfer of flavor to the grounds in about 24 hours. This sweetly spiced blend is then combined with the coffee grounds, placed in a filter, then brewed to your liking.
Pumpkin Spice Flavored Syrups and Oils
